V4 Beta / Re: Plan-G with MSFS - AI Traffic Labels
November 21, 2021, 12:51:03 PM
Oh right, okay.
Well on my version nothing pops up when I hover. That must be a limitation of ver 4.0.0.246

What is the quick and easy process to upgrade to the latest version that won't affect my current settings and configuration?

Thanks very much, appreciate it.
And if it's possible, the option of toggling the label would be a bonus - tail no./flight no./aircraft type etc.
If not it's the flight no. that is most important I believe.

It is great software and works almost perfectly with MSFS, even the older version I'm using.

V4 Beta / Plan-G with MSFS - AI Traffic Labels
November 19, 2021, 03:27:02 PM
I am currently using Plan-G ver 4.0.0.246 with MSFS. I have not bothered to upgrade Plan-G because that version has been very stable with MSFS and does what I need it to do.

However....
I have recently starting using AIG's AI Traffic for MSFS and I have noticed that Plan-G displays the AI traffic's label as the tail number of the AI aircraft.

Is there anyway of changing that label to show either the AI flight number, or even the aircraft type?
I would even consider upgrading Plan-G if a later version can do this.

Plan-G / Re: Problem with 'Traffic Range'

Yep, FSUIPC worked. Yeah, it's a bit slower, but still better than it crashing every 5mins.

Thanks.

Plan-G / Problem with 'Traffic Range'
September 10, 2017, 03:03:32 AM
I am using the latest (test) version, 3.1.4.129, and have used a number of previous versions before this one.

For a long time now I get constant crashes of Plan-G, including this latest version. It generally happens when I come into an area of high AI traffic. When I turn the AI traffic off, or significantly reduce the 'Traffic Range', the problem seems to disappear.

I can live with that, however I have a strange problem with the 'Traffic Range' setting.....

If I set the range at 20km, it works correctly and I only see traffic up to 20km away. But if I have this setting at anything above 20km (e.g. 21km or above), the software will show traffic up to the maximum that Plan-G allows (200km), even if I have the setting at, say, 50km.

This is annoying as I want to find a good balance between being able to see Traffic greater than 20km away, while not crashing the software. But as it stands at the moment it's either 20km of traffic or 200km, and nothing in between.

Thoughts?
