Unable to create Database with fsx2020

Long time fondness with PlanG and prev. FSX versions, but unable to make a database with new FSX2020 in Windows10 altho it has a checkbox I checked for the Plan to make a database from FSX.  I even put in customized links to the FSX and .cfg files (eg C:\Users\earls\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache). Plan G version is 3.2.2167.    After I click the "make database" box nothing appears on the screen, except a nice map of the area (So.Calif) I've chosen.  All other tabs are greyed out without any "Connect with FSX" visible. i'd certainly would appreciate some help.

V3 does not work with MSFS, you need v4.
