Plan-G / Re: TongassX .KMZ location
January 12, 2011, 07:11:59 PM
Markself, I have TongassX and Plan-G and all of the airports, seaplane areas and the lot showed up.  They all showed up when I built the Plan-G database.  On the FTX Forum Holger posted a couple of links which came here: http://www.tongassge.com/ This will give you all that you are looking for.

To add to my above message, I am running Win7 and my FSX config is located here: C:\Users\Tom\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX and not in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX as the suggestion of putting the FSX scenery config finder.

I did as per the 5th message down and it did not work for me.  Only the default airports are showing up.

Tim, I am having the same issue.  I am not sure if it is a Plan-G or ORBx issue.  After I installed the last update for PNW which included the seaplane bases, Plan-G is not seeing any of the Southern BC bases as well the SPB I had showing before, ie Victoria and Vancouver have disappeared.  I thought I would share this though when I am flying I won't panic if they are not in Plan-G, Water + Floats = good landing ;D

Thank you very much for that information.  Next when I am finished creating different areas how do I save the info to upload it for others.

Plan-G / Bringing in new airports How too...

Hi Tim, I follow you posts on the FTX Forums and do appreciate your work.  My question is I want to learn how to put airports that are not listed from ORBx PNW into Plan-G.  I installed the different fire towers.  I was looking at the spreadsheet and it baffled me.  Can you give a quick lesson.  Thanks

BTW I have Plan-G running on a second computer and my FSX life is fantastic.  I miss FSNavigator from FS9, oh well, Plan-G rocks.

Okay Tim you have me captive.  How do I set up two computers, first being my new FSX only computer and the second everything else computer that has plan-G or is there a link that will help me figure this out?  Thanks.
