Plan-G / Location of user created waypoints
January 22, 2011, 02:43:31 AM
I've got a quantity of user created waypoints that I would like to send to members of the VOA for which I fly.  I wonder;

1) where in the Plan-G folder tree are these files located, what is their file extension, and are they in a form that most people could open or
    use unopened?

2) where and how should the recipients install these files in order to be functional in their copy of Plan-G?

Also, I would like to extend my sincere thanks for this absolutely fantastic program.  I never thought that FS Nav could be beaten but Plan-G has left my formely favorite nav program laying in the dust.  My monetary appreciation was forwarded via Pay Pal about three months ago but after seeing this latest version I'm afraid I'll have to dig a little bit deeper............thanks again!

Outstanding, Joe!

Even the slowest amongs't us could follow your outline.

I'll rush off to send a donation to Plan-G now that I know it will achieve the results I hoped for.

Thanks, Quink

I am very new using Plan-G so if you can answer the following question please speak very slowly and use small words as I am a bit computer-challenged.

Having spent about three hours plowing about in the well done Plan-G manual I do not see, or perhaps, do not understand how one transfers a Plan-G flight plan to the FSX Flight Planner.

If this can be done an explanation or manual reference as to how would be most appreciated.

If it can't be done then I seem to have misunderstood the information on the home page prior to downloading.

Thanks for any assistance
