Well that did the trick. Turns out my video card driver was corrupt. The scan showed it need to be updated, I had already done that but I downloaded it and installed the driver again and everything works well.

When I exit Plan G I get a blue screen and the following message:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

What do I need to do?
