Plan-G / Unable to load flight plan
February 07, 2019, 04:22:42 PM
Hello Tim, long time no talk!

Win10/X-Plane11/IVAO

I have been using P-G on and off for some time.

However, I just updated X-Plane11 to the latest version of 11.30, I am now unable to select any generated flight plan unless it is one I have flown previously.

I have reloaded P-G v3.2.1 and regenerated the Db for X-P11. The map displays all various nav aids - VORs, NDBs, Airports, Lower airways et cetera as normal.

When I go to select a flight plan selecting File/Open it returns me directly to the map display and not my X-P11 flight plan directory.

I also notice that when I go to check the LOCATIONS - and select Browse, again I am directed straight back to the map display.

Apart from not showing my flight plan it displays the aircraft and tracks my flight.

I am really stuffed as I would also like to see my flight plan.

Has anyone else had this problem or is it just my system?

Thanks

Brgds

Tim,

I wish you a  Happy Christmas and a very prosperous New Year.

I thank you for producing such a fine product which I am sure many users will
enjoy using Plan-G, for years to come - well until another version of FS appears!

Once again I thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Best regards

Thanks Tim that make sense. But what about the difference in  LTMA3 and LTMA4 I cannot see any reference to them on the 1/2MIL or again is that a Google thingy?

John,

A little late but did you ever get an answer from Tim? It seems that the LONDON TMA 3 3500' pops up in a lot of other places in PLAN-G but not on the 1/2 mil. Anyone know what are the differences between the TMA's. For example - west of the MID VOR it shows TMA 3 Class A 3500' and TMA 4 Class A 3500'?

Don,
In Internet Explorer, Tools, Compatibility View - try that.
Dave.

Thanks Dave that fixed it. Ruddy computers........ ::)

Yes Tim, it is (was) the same on the CIXVFR CLUB. I will add them to the Compatibility View.

Always learning something new. The trouble is, I will forget it by next week!

Cockpit Chatter / Problems with entering text ......
October 21, 2009, 05:12:51 PM
If I have to write any message greater than 12 lines I have to write it in Notepad then copy it to the forum.
Because, for some reason anything greater that 12 lines, the cursor just keeps jumping back to the beginning of my text, hiding my current line I am typing so I end up typing blind. Does anyone know how to fix this annoying problem?

Thanks

Plan-G / Micrososft .NET Framework

Tim,

I am slightly confused which .NET Framework is required. You say, in your readme,  .NET Framework v3.5 SP1. OK I understand that .

However, when I go to the MS site it also mentions v 1.1, 2.0 , 3.0 and 3.5. Are you saying that we can ignore these versions and only install v 3.5 SP1?

Thanks

Don
