v2 is a completely different program to v3, Therefore if you cannot get v2 to work the problem should be nothing to with the new version of 3.1.

Registry cleaners can do more harm than good.

I'm about to upgrade to 3.1 if I have a problem I will report back.

Plan-G / Re: No DEMM in Plan-G folder
September 18, 2012, 10:10:11 AM
Hi, I am a little confused by this one.

V2 uses x:user defined folder \TA Software\Plan-G v2\DEM

Why can I not use  x:user defined folder \TA Software\Plan-G v3\DEM for my V3 DEM folder?

I do notice even though I specified x:user defined folder \TA Software\Plan-G v3
V3 has created a new Plan-G Files folder in my Libraries\Documents folder if I have to put the DEM folder there I will but it seems a shame that the system is creating so many locations for files :(

Note:- If this above limitations are a result of having to code for windows 7 User Account Control; I with draw any comments that have a negative tone.

Plan-G is a great add-on program for FSX!

I had a similar problem but have resolved it.  I have FSX on Vista and Plan G on an older Win XP.  My XML file was exactly as yours using IPv4.  My router would not let it connect.  I then changed the address from the 192.168.2.2 to the name of my Computer, "Larry-PC"  and then it connected just fine.  The router did not like the address but had no problem with the computer name.  Hope it works for you.

Thank you very much for that information :)
I had spent hours trying to get network running and changing to a name worked first time!

>C++2005 runtimes maybe

Yes; that was mentioned when I trawled the net for what may be missing in net4.

If you get the message Unable to load DLL 'sqlceme35.dll' after installing Plan-G it may be because the PC is so clean it has not yet got net3.5 installed.

The setup of Plan-G has a nice touch of installing Net4 but net for does not include Net3.5.
It seems that net3.5 installs the compact sql stuff.

Installing net3.5 worked for me hope it does for you.
