Plan-G / Re: Wind arrow error
July 19, 2014, 02:25:01 PM
Hi

Just for information, after further experimentation it appears that Plan-G displays the wind direction via FSUIPC as if in the form +180 to -180 degrees  (but misses off the minus sign) rather than 0 to 360 degrees.

326 deg displays as 34 deg
232 deg displays as 128 deg
195 deg displays as 165 deg

Values below 180 deg display correctly.

Hope this is useful.

Regards

I have installed build 93 but the wind direction issue still exists.

Hi

Here is a link to a pair of pictures:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/umsa3494f327dxq/AAAXegLGEtUeQPnD5JUXZ008a

One shows the aircraft head to wind on runway 32 (wind 326 deg) and the other shows the display on Plan-G indicating  a wind direction of 36 deg.

Plan-G / Wind arrow error
July 15, 2014, 09:15:36 AM
Hi

I recently installed P3D in order to evaluate it compared to FSX. Plan-G worked fine with P3D (did not build a P3D database) but on FSX I could no longer connect.  I changed the connection interface setting to FSUIPC and this seemed to fix the problem. I have now noticed that the wind direction arrow at the top left of the screen gives the wrong direction (in both sims). Any ideas?

Plan-G / Clearing trail
July 30, 2012, 06:54:46 PM
When I am practising circuits I likr to have the trail active but after a few circuits the overlapping trails become very messy. Is there a way of clearing the trail so it starts again fromthe current lcation.

Plan-G / Using Plan-G away from home
January 31, 2012, 12:27:30 PM
Hi

I am having a great time creating flight plans with Plan-g. It has brough a whole new level of realism to my flight sim use.

One question though...

I would like to create/edit plans on my laptop away from home or on my work desktop computer at luch times. Neither of these has FSX on it and in the case of the work computer would not be allowed to.

What folders and files would I need to copy from my home computer to be able to see the airport details on these computers - without installing the complete FSX suite.
