Hi there,
I've not used Plan-G at all yet, but I've been using X-Plane 9 for a few years. Although I've never used the stock FMS, and I only use the stock GPS when the aircraft is using it as a radio tuner and DME display. I came here after one of the Plan-G v3 beta testers asked for help on the x-plane.org forums. I prefer to fly older, pre-electronic aircraft, tuning radios and adjusting the autopilot heading myself. I'm not one of the Children of Magenta (I tried to link to a video, but the forum embedded it. Search YouTube for 'Children of Magenta', it's a fascinating talk!). If I can help with getting Plan-G to play nicely with the world's only viable desktop flight sim ( ;) ) I'd be happy to help!
By-the-way. One of the x-plane.org moderators is extremely rude. If you encounter him, please don't judge the whole community by the stupid comments of one curmudgeon...
