Plan-G / Re: User waypoints
August 24, 2013, 11:13:02 AM
Hello again Tim:
After my post I've closed Plan-G, opened it again and I went on creating several new waypoints. All has been ok and all them are created and in the database and shown in the map. I enclose the new Plan-G log if it can be of any help.

Hi Tim:
This is to report the same problem when creating new user waypoints. I'm enclosing Plan-G.txt log although seems not to have any error. What I've observed is that you can create a waypoint (i.e. a VRP for and airport) and the icon appears in the map and also in the database. I try to create a second VRP for the same airport and then icon changes position from first vrp to second and when opening the database I can see the second one but nor the first; simply has changed one by the other.
I don't know if this explanation can be of any help to you.
I'm using the last version pf Plan G.

My OS is Windows XP Sp3. As DotNet I can see .Net Framework 1; 1.1; 2 SP2; 3 SP2; 3.5 SP1 and 4 in the programs list.

Plan-G / Unable to install Plan G
February 01, 2013, 10:06:45 AM
Hello everybody.
I downloaded Plan G v.3.0.2 (build 51) but I can't install it. I get an error screen from Windows and it stops automatically. First, I had uninstalled old V3 version according to "read me" instructions, but now I can't install either the new or old version.
Any idea about the problem ? Thanks

Plan-G / Re: Crash when Installing Plan_G V. 3

Hi.
I've tested several times Plan-G V 3 build 49 with satisfactory results after solving minor problems. But when I intend to create a new user waypoint it is not added to the data base and of course doesn't appear in the User Waypoints Manager. An issue to this problem is to build the waypoint in Plan-G V 2 and then export it to the Plan-G V 3, but it's not very practical.
Any solution for this ? . I inclose Plan-G log book.

The problem has been solved. Before exporting Wpts I forgot to select all wpts, so no one was exported.  Now everything seems to work ok.

Finally I'm using build 49. All data base from FSX have been correctly set, except for User waypoints. I exported Plan-G v2 User Wpts in a .csv format but when try to import to Plan-G v3 I get "Imported 0 files of 1".
Are both data base compatible, or I have to write my wpts again ?

Hi Tim:
Thank you so much for your very quick response. De installation and reinstalling .NET Framework 4 had not any result for my problem, so I tried build 48 that seems to open correctly. So I'll use it in a flight and will comment if any problem arises.

August 27, 2012, 12:53:06 PM
Hello.
I can't install Plan-G v. 3. After clicking "next" in the 1st installation screen I get and advertisement "Microsoft Windows has encountered a problem and must stop....." an and error log is generated (see attachment). Same error all times I try to install.
Any help for this ?

Hi Tim.
Yes you are true. The waypoints file was corrupt. I changed it by an old backup, and all is running again.
Thank you for your advise.

It isn't a problem when clicking Import, I can't arrive there. The error arises when clicking "Manage" (the barrel icon)

Hi Tim.
Here you can find the log file.

Plan-G / Problem with Plan-G an Waypoints Manager
July 16, 2012, 12:29:47 PM
This is may first topic in the forum and I want to say hello everybody.
I'm using Plan-G without major problem except when I try to open the "Manage User Waypoints". Then I get a message: Plan-G has detected a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconveniences. Obviously Plan-G
closes.
I tried to uninstall and install again, but the problem still remains.
I'm using XP Home Edition an Plan-G v2.0.5.493.
Any idea how to solve this ?
