I'm new to plan-G so still discovering.
I wanted the VRP's for Shoreham so I did it the hard way. I entered the lat. and long. Then it struck me: that's what those cute yellow dots are. But I also noticed the Plan-G coordinates did not match the official coordinates. The most striking was Lewes Intersection. The official data puts it smack dab on top of the junction of A26 and A27 hence the descriptive name. The Plan-G location is almost a half mile SSW over a non-descript neighborhood.
Now, the way I fly it hardly matters, but I thought you should know.
