Plan-G / Plan-G not connecting to X-Plane 11.26
November 14, 2018, 04:35:18 PM
I recently started using X-Plane and wanted to connect plan-G over a network but there appears to be a connection problem. X-Plane XPUIPC reports "no IP client connected"
Plan-G has correctly built the X-Plane database and I can click "connect" but my aircraft does not show and the "lock, sync, & free" buttons are greyed out.
X-plane 11.26 is on 192.168.1.3 and Plan-g is on 192.168.1.2

The full XPUIPC folder is in X-plane 11/Resources/plugins and  XPUIPC.ini has "server address=192.168.1.3"  & "XPUIPC2XPUIPC Client mode = NO"

I have also tried putting "win.xpl" from the XPUIPC folder directly into the plugin folder.

XPUIPC is v2.0.3.5 64bit and XPwidefs is v2.0.0.2 64bit.
OS is Win7 64bit
Can anyone offer a solution please?

Dave

XPwideclient on 192.168.1.2  "[Network Settings]  IP Address of THIS PC = 192.168.1.2     IP Address of server = 192.168.1.3"

Plan-G / Re: Terrain Map in Version 3

Like other users I too would appreciate terrain mapping Tim.

I know nothing about software developement or what's involved in adding terrain mapping but came across this while searching for solutions

http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/7860/are-there-open-access-terrain-tiles-with-a-permissive-license-like-osm

I'm sure you've already explored all avenues but just in case this slipped through the net.
