When PlanG is building the database, does it include ALL airports installed or only the activated?

Hi

* Reboot your PC.  Done
* Are you running in Administrator mode, you also need to run P3D as Administrator, ? Yes
* Is P3D running when you attempt the database build? No
* Something may be preventing Plan-G from deleting & recreating the data file correctly. Before running Plan-G, manually delete My Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\Plan_G3_P3D.sdf Done

If the database still doesn't build, there are some addons that report errors:  All of them disabled
Aerosoft\ Cologne-Bonn Professional
Aerosoft\ PortoSantoXEvolution
ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_AA_KVUO
ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_AA_KGPI

No chsnge still not finiching

Plan-G / Re: Uninstalling Plan-G
March 15, 2011, 03:17:10 PM
Problem solved!!!!!!!!!!!

Was able to install version 2.03 without problems. The entry showed up in the Control Panel/Programs. I could uninstall it from there and the installation of version 2.05 created no error messages or problems. It seems that .msi puts some references somewhere. I know it does in the C:\Program Files (x86)\InstallShield Installation Information and sometimes you have to move ALL entries in that library to a temp library and then move the files back, when you get an error message that the program is allready installed. (especially when you have deleted the program folder and NOT uninstalled it the proper way) The Aerosoft programs have problems with reinsatllation when not uninstalled the proper way.

Anyway, thanks for trying to help me out.

Plan-G / Uninstalling Plan-G
March 15, 2011, 11:56:37 AM
Hi

Somehow the entry for uninstalling Plan-G is missing from the program list in my WIN7/Control Panel/Programs list. Probably I have done something wrong sometime. When I'm trying to install the newest version I get the error message that this product is allready installed....... I have deleted all librarys associated with Plan-G (in the Program Files (x86) folder), entrys in the Register and in the Appdata/Local folder, but still I cant install the new version. What can I do to "clean" the computer from old entries so I can do the new installation?

Plan-G / Re: Aerodrom Diagram
February 04, 2011, 04:35:29 PM
Thanks Tim,

I figured that out after a while, and now it shows up in it's own window, but I still can't move the chart inside the window, so when I zoom in on LEAL (my home airport)  the picture zooms to the upper left side and that's it. I can't choose a specific spot on the chart to zoom in on. That is, if I want to zoom to RWY 18 I can't.

Plan-G / Aerodrom Diagram

When I read the manual it seems that right clicking on the airport and choose "show airport chart" will show the apropriate airport chart. Well it does and opens the chart in the right pane under "Aerodrome:airport name". I can zoom in/out with my mouse wheel but when zooming in, part of the diagram "disappears" as the "window" is very small. I thought that the chart was opened in a new window where I could zoom/pane the chart. Also I don't get any information when hoovering over the chart with my mouse pointer. Am I doing something wrong here?
