Plan-G / Re: Wishlist of New Features
August 26, 2010, 02:09:03 AM
Here's a crazy one...but it would be very helpful and way cool (not necessarily in that order).  Would it be possible to implement the 3d slew feature of Google Earth and have the various airspaces be rendered from a side view?  This would make it amazing (and cool dude  8)) for picking our way through the airspace at hand.

Thanks Tim nonetheless!

Plan-G / Flight Plan question
May 17, 2010, 11:56:28 PM
Hi Tim, et al,

When a flight plan is already put together and one wants to add a waypoint to the beginning part of the plan, is the only way to position the waypoint into the earlier part of the plan is the right click "Move Waypoint Up" option?  It is not a huge issue, but in a lengthy flight plan this can be a little tedious.

Cheers,

Joel

Plan-G / Memory usage
February 02, 2010, 08:04:30 PM
Hi,

Trying to sort out some issues with my rig.  Is it normal for Plan-G to use around 350 t0 400MB of memory?

Thanks,

Joel

Plan-G / Re: Airport information

Tim, another thought/wish would be that there was an option to show airways.  I realize this would be more for IFR flight, but airways do come in handy for VFR flight.

Cheers, and have a great weekend!

The hiking was amazing.  Thanks for asking.  Here's a shot from Palisade Basin, King's Canyon:

Plan-G / Airport information
September 03, 2009, 05:13:01 PM
Hi Tim,

Is it possible to have more airport information available, like the various radio frequencies? Also, it would be handy to have the city and state that the airport is in.  Just a thought.

Thanks,

Joel
