Plan-G / Printing Flight Plan?
April 01, 2016, 09:27:17 PM
Hi: Is there a way to print out a complete flight plan, including all of the headings, times, etc? I have figured out most of the program but just can't determine if this is possible or not...Thanks a lot,

I actually just renamed it...Should I change it back to Scenery.cfg? and leave both copies active?

I think moving the .cfg to the FS9 program folder did the trick...It still crashes if I click on the tiny drop down button, but I really have no need to do that...Thanks for getting me straightened out and I know I will enjoy the program!

Plan-G / Re: Help With Install
March 01, 2015, 09:28:17 PM
I noticed something else...Plan-G is looking for my Scenery.cfg file here:

15:16:21.5 Building database for FS9
15:16:21.5 FS directory is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\
15:16:21.5 Scanning Scenery.cfg (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery.cfg)

But the Scenery.cfg file is really in a different place as shown in the attached screen shot...But, every time I try to change the location in the Data Tools, the program crashed with the attached error messages! Sorry to be a pain, but there must be something wrong somewhere! Thanks again for all of the time you are spending on this!

Sir: Thanks again for the reply...Attached is the Scenery.cfg file...(The forum would not let me attach the file, so I pasted it into the message).....Still no luck in trying to install...No FS9 buttons produce any action...I did notice, also, that when I click on the small button under the Database Tools, the program crashes...No idea what this means!...Thanks again...

Plan-G / Re: Help With Install
February 28, 2015, 04:58:46 PM
Hi and thanks for the reply; When I attempt to build the FS9 database, thee is a really quick (about a second) bit of action in the database block, and then it returns to the main screen...Here are the two screens you requested: I m running with Administrator privileges, yet I continue to get the error screen attached; And I notice that all of the databases seem to be the same size, yet I only have FS9 installed...Really getting frustrated...This seems like such a great program...Hope we can get it running! Thanks again for the assistance.

Plan-G / Help With Install
February 22, 2015, 11:44:16 PM
Hi: I think I hve been doing everything correctly, but this is the problem I'm having...When I attempt to build the database for FS9, nothing happens...I have the paths correct, etc...The main screen has a "tint" over FSX, even though I do not have FX installed...I cannot get the program to view the FS9 database, because apparently it is not being created...I have attached the latest log file...Advice would be appreciated!

Plan-G / Difficulty Connecting With FS2004
January 07, 2015, 11:17:12 PM
Hi: I have FS2004 installed in the default directory as shown in the attached screen shot, but am unable to display the data...When I attempt to compile the database, the system goes by really fast (maybe 2 seconds) and nothing is created...Can someone advise me as to what I might be doing wrong? Thanks a lot...

Plan-G / Re: No Airplane Visible! Help! Solved...

I think I have solved the problem...I tried running Plan-G as "Administrator" and it seems to work! Looking forward to using all of the features of the program...Thanks for your patience!

Plan-G / Re: No Airplane Visible! Help!
October 17, 2014, 10:51:53 PM
Thank you for your quick reply...I have attached three screen shots to show that I have done what you suggest and still with no luck! I notice that there doesn't seem to be any connection between the program and FSUIPC...No indication of airplane movement on the lower data ribbon or on the "panel" instruments (gps) in Plan-G, and, of course, no airplane! even though Plan-G indicates that it is connected...I really want this to work! Any other suggestions? Thanks again...

Plan-G / No Airplane Visible! Help!
October 17, 2014, 04:22:46 PM
I am a new user of Plan G and I am having a problem...No matter what I do, my aircraft will not show up on the screen...I have the latest version of the program, FSUIPC, FS2004, Win 8.1...I have created a flight plan but to no avail...I have created the database...All of the map features (VOR, etc) appear as do the airports, ILS etc, but no airplane...I think I am connected to FSUIPC, as the menu bar item changes to "disconnect"...I keep tapping "F6" and nothing happens...Can someone advise me as to how to troubleshoot this? Thanks a lot...

Plan-G / Print Freqs on Map
February 20, 2011, 04:02:13 AM
Is it possible to print the applicable frequencies on the map itself? (NDB's, VOR', etc)

Also, I am having difficulty getting the map to print on one piece of paper...How can i shrink the map down so it fits on 8.5" x 11" paper?

Thanks for a great program'  your patience,  and for your assistance.
