Tim

Just want to thank you again for the work you have done and The awesome software you have made available to all of us. I also appreciate very much your prompt response to my original post.

I have spent a couple hours today checking approaches on airports throughout the western USA area and it seems that all the ILS and other missed approach to holding patterns have duplicates and some even have triplicates in the way points. I have been looking for some way to remove the dupes all at once but have not been able to come up with any solution other than deleting one at a time. I know that you are also looking at the situation and want to offer again to help in any way I can. Just let me know what I can do to be of assistance and I will be glad to help.  I am retired and not able to get outside very much so  I have lots of time on my hands.

Just let me know

OK Here is what information I have to this point.

If you have read my first post you saw that I included one of my created flight plans. In that plan you will notice that in the approach I used there are 2 way points with same name " CAN  CAN ".

I have created several new plans using various approaches at different airports. Most of which have duplicate way points in the approach patterns. None of the approaches with duplicate way points will load when selected with FSX flight planner.

I have saved the way points and using the Plan Panel to view them I have removed (deleted) one of the duplicates. Now, I have exported the edited way points to FSX and when selected with FSX flight planner they load immediately.

Given what I have found it is very difficult for me to believe that there are not many post with this same problem. A friend of mine with whom I fly almost daily in multiplayer also downloaded Gv3 build 51 and is having the same problem.

I can fix this on a per incident basis as I create the plans, however I am hoping someone will have a fix for me that will solve this problem.

I will continue to use Gv3 and make the changes as needed simply because the program, in a word, is AWESOME.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do on my end to correct the problem or even assist you in finding a solution.

Thanks

Plan-G / Gv3 .pln plans not loading in FSX

First let me give a brief explanation.

Program is installed. (Tried both in x86 files and in a user file.)
Absolutely love the way everything works and looks right up to the point of loading the flight plan in a flight thru FSX Flight Planner.

I have created the plan and Exported it to FSX and saved there as .pln file in the same folder as all my other flight plans with FSX.

When I open FSX flight planner and click Load, I can see the file saved as a .pln file. However when I click load it will not load into the Flight Plan window for flight.

COMPUTER

8500 XPS

8 GIGS RAM

3.10 GIG PROCESSOR

RADEON 1 GIG GRAPHICS CARD

I am very familiar with computers and how the work and can do most anything I want with them. (Been in and out of them since 1987 so not afraid to play with most anything)

Know I am gonna feel like a real dummy when someone tells me just how simple this problem can be addressed.

Need Help with this one.

Thanks
