Apologies if that has been asked before and I have simply missed it - I did a quick search but found nothing - but I want to ask if there is a way of importing the aircraft profiles I have built in v3 into v4. The import button on the Aircraft Profile form in v4 suggests it may be possible, but it looks like the file formats are not the same, as it doesn't recognise my earlier profiles.

I went looking for that file, and it wasn't there. Checking the log, I saw that permission to create the file had been denied. I tweaked the .exe file to Run as Administrator and it all seems to be OK now. Thanks for the heads-up.

I have just caught up with v4, and I am building my scenery databases. I have used the Additional Scenery Locations area to add a couple of folders which have extra scenery. I click the OK after selecting the folders, but if I go back into the screen again, the additional locations I have added are gone. Am I missing something in this bit of the setup? The main scenery locations for X-Plane 11 and FSX are fine.

I'm fairly new to Plan-G and still learning how to get the best out of it. I've just come across the Reporting Point and the import files of various locations and so on. I'd like to say a big thank you to the people whi put them there... makes planning much easier when Intersections are all included. Keep up the good work!  :)
