Plan-G / Revisions Needed
May 05, 2013, 11:30:00 AM
Wouldn't it be nice to have a "Sticky" so users could IMMEDIATELY scan to see the ACKNOWLEDGED problems, with current version?  Would save Members MUCH time searching for something that may not exist... Would provide a source for your programmers working problems for new user input, without searching...  Would provide a Topic that other users, experiencing the same problem, could voice additional information...etc.
Alternatively, or in addition, it would be nice to know WHO to contact for problems in general, to offer suggestions for manual clarifications, needed/desirable features, etc.
My 2 bits!!!

Plan-G / Editing User Waypoint Lat/Lon
February 18, 2013, 05:39:10 PM
Newbie here and I do try to answer my own Qs but am striking out.  Manual says "to click on Lat column, click again, enter new coordinate and click OK to save"  or words to that effect.  I do this but do NOT get an OK prompt and new coordinate info is NOT saved.  What am I missing?  Using Vs 3, the latest build.  Thanks for any help.
EDIT: Instead of Manage Database access to UserWaypoint, I right clicked point on map, and can INDEED modify coordinates...NEW PROBLEM: Even though new Coordinate is saved, the point does NOT move on the map!  Yes, I am inputting in degrees.decimals.  29* 57' 19.07" = 29.9552972*.  Modifying 3rd decimal place... 0.001 = 360' (roughly) and should be viewable on the map...point is at a runway center (KBPT) and CLEARLY does not move!  Still need some help here...Thanks.
EDIT2: I told you that I try to solve my own problems...To edit Lat/Lon of User waypoint, Make change per EDIT above, save plan, close PlanG, ReOpen PlanG and YES, UserWpt does indeed relocated to new coordinates.  PLEASE NOTE though that the Manual(and program by 1st method) is INDEED INCORRECT.  The method in para 11.4.1 modifying via the User Waypoint Database DOES NOT WORK!
RECOMMEND you add a REFRESH button to update database and fetch new values.
