At what point do you build the database on the netbook?  And how do I do this if I can't get them to connect?

Also, is that your ENTIRE xml file you posted or just what you added to what was already there?

I believe I'm in the same boat here.  I THOUGHT I knew what I was doing but am having no success.  While Plan-G is obviously not necessary, I very much like the program and would love to have it networked.

So anyone willing to help out a couple of clueless "Plan-G'ers", it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply.

1.  I am running FSX Acceleration
2.  Not sure how to do this
3.  I shut down my firewall with the same results.

I should also note that I have tried the IPv4 and IPv6 protocols with the same results, it times out and asks me to verify I'm running FSX, which I am.

Thanks again, your help is appreciated.  I love this product and would very much like to be able to use it on linked computers.

I have been working on this so long, I'm about to throw in the towel.  I'll make it as short as possible.

I'm having the same issues the OP did.  Here are my specs:

FSX PC running Win 7 Home Prem
Plan-G PC is a netbook running Win 7 Home Prem
Connected on Home Network through Netgear router

Running Plan-G on FSX PC works perfect, including the connection.  I have tried everything I can think of and can not get the netbook to connect Plan-G to FSX.  I have double and triple checked that my IPv4 setting, port settings, etc. match from the XML to the Plan-G settings.

ANY suggestions would be great, I'm really frustrated here.  Thanks in advance.
