Thanks for your reaction. I edit the user.config file. Didnt know that it was there... But I think that file should be removed when uninstalling Plan-G. I'm glad its working now anyway.

Try the utility "Whatishang". Run it while starting Plan-G.
Maybe, it will tell more... It helped me anyway.

I've found what's going wrong. Despite reinstalling plan-g some settings are kept somewhere.

I once added a network share: "\\Desktop01\Flight Simualtor X Files" to Plan-G.
I removed this share from the system, but Plan-G still wants to open it according debugging with "whatishang.exe" See attatchment.

Now as a workaround I made the share again, when I use "open", it opens with the network share.

But I rather want to remove the setting. Or is it a bug?

No I did not change my documents.
I uninstalled .net 4.5.1 and installed 4. But no change.

Hi,
Since a few days I cannot open a flightplan.
When I click 'open' to open a flightplan, Plan-G hangs en stops working.
In the eventlog I see messages about a .Net error. But I cannot figure out whats wrong.
A have Plan-G (v3.0.7.71) running on a separate pc connected via Simconnect.
Someone any idea?

I have solved it myself. Fisrt  I uninstalled .net framework 4.0. Then installed 4.5. (problem still excisting) then I ran MS Update: installed 9 4.5 updates: problem solved.
