Yes , I did got through steps 1-4 and yes google earth runs fine and also all other software like fs9 , fsx , fscommander etc.
And finaly I found the solution but it's a crazy one. The plan-g software appearantly must be installed on the drive were the operating system boots , in my case C:\     C:\Plan-G\  works but D:\Plan-G does not  >:D >:D

That's what I have.  I hope you can come up with a solution and stop asking me how to install. I did install and set settings as described.  Am I the only one were it does not work ?

.net version 3.5 as the readme told me.  Vista home premium 32 bits, nvidia geforce 9800GT+ , 4mb memory.

I use ms-internet browser 8.0 and the settings for Java are set correct in the browser settings.
