Got it, many thanks.
I had to restart Plan-G after I put the ID and token in the settings, but it now works.

Many thanks!

I just opened a new account on mapbox.com, so I am guessing it is v4?
I have a Map ID and a "default API access token", which is very long...
Is that the "key" I should use in Plan-G?
Please tell me exactly where do I find the "key" to be used with my Mapbox map in Plan-G.

Apologies but I am completely new with this Mapbox thing, and I bet a lot of Plan-G users are.

Thank you for the support!

Plan-G / .NET Framework 4.6 ?
September 11, 2015, 09:25:21 AM
Hello,
I see that .net Framework 4.6 has been released.
Would that improve Plan-G behaviour (generally a bit slow on my PC, but it could be me, obviously...)?

I am using the recent 3.1.3 beta version (build 113) on Win10.

Thanks

Is Mapbox working for anybody in this beta version?

Thanks

Plan-G / Re: 'Plan-G has stopped working' - W10/64

Problem solved by deleting the folder TA_Software in AppDataLocal and by restarting Plan-G (to build a fresh TA_Software folder with default settings), as suggested by Rob Jones here above. I just had to go through my settings in Plan-G again, but it wasn't a big deal.
In Windows 10 you can find the AppData Low folder as indicated here:
http://wind8apps.com/appdatalocallow-missing-windows/

I did download and try to install .NET Framework 4.5 but my computer told me I already had it.

Now everything is working back to normal.

Thanks

Please excuse my ignorance, but where do I get and how do I install the .Net libraries/patches?
I know how to download and install .Net Framework 4.5 from Microsoft, but how do I make sure it is "updated"?

I am running Plan-G latest Beta version on Win 10.

Thanks!

I am trying to use the option MapProvider = Mapbox 1 , but so far without success.
I opened a (free) account in Mapbox and created a map based on mapbox.street
IN PlanG I put my mapID in "ID", but I am not sure what is the "Key": I tried my Mapbox password, my public token and the "share" address, but none is working.
I always get the blue tiles with error 401 (unauthorized).

Could you please give us more detailed instructions on how to use this feature?

Many thanks!

Plan-G / ASN weather information?
December 03, 2014, 10:38:51 AM
Hello, I have a couple of basic questions on the way Plan-G handles information from ASN-generated weather.
I understand that currently (v3) there is no map overlay for winds, clouds or precipitation (that would be a great update, of course!).
I see that if I set plan-G up to get weather info directly from FSX (in my case that would be ASN-generated), then I could get in Plan-G a METAR-like table for weather stations at START and END of a flight plan.

Questions:
1) Can I get the same table with information on ALL available METARs along the route of my flighplan (and not just beginning and end)?
2) Can I get these same METARs directly on the map, and not just in table format?

Apologies is this is all obvious to you, but I am just starting with Plan-G...

Thanks!
