Plan-G / Transferring created planned trip to FSX: SE
February 10, 2017, 01:46:12 PM
Using Plan G and having created a trip to fly, I then go to 'File' and save it as a 'Plan G file'. Then using 'Export' I send it to FSX but it doesn't appear there when I click through 'Free Flight' - 'Flight Planner'  and 'Load'.
What have I failed to do, folks?

:azn: That missing map has suddenly appeared. I clicked on 'Find' under the 'File' just to see if anything else was functioning and up popped the map.
   Curious is it not?

Plan-G / Map V.3.1.1.123
January 23, 2017, 12:48:03 PM
The map on my install failed to appear when I ran the programme this morning.
All the top bar details are there but where the map once appeared is a vast white space.

  Help, please.

Plan-G / It ain't working at all

You can see from my profile the setup I have. An older version of Plan G that I had installed was no longer functioning so I removed it and and installed "v.3.1.3" I disabled my Norton during the d/load and installation. However I still have a major problem. The attachment shows the screen view with which I am presented.  :-[. In addition, on opening the d/loaded file there were only two inclusions - a "Read me" file and a "Set up Plan". No sign of a "Set up.msi".
I would appreciate some help, folks as something is clearly amiss.

Plan-G / Aircraft icon
April 06, 2016, 12:55:51 PM
Having set up a flight plan and having highlighted the Sim Connect radio button to link with my FSX: Steam edition, when I get underway my aircraft icon is not appearing on the Plan G map.
What is amiss?
  Thanks.

Thanks, Tim.
My little problem has been solved but thanks for getting back to me.
Now I know how to get your undivided attention in the future. Just joking.

At last I have discovered the way to shrink that full screen map page.
Looks like I'm on my way.

Could someone advise me as to how I might contact Tim, the designer.
I've tried via the 'Contact' link on the intro page but get no reaction there.
Perhaps someone has his email address.
  Thanks.

That's what I'm trying to do but the trouble is that the only choice I can see is either to have it displayed full screen or shrunk down to the task bar. Grr.

Thanks for that. My graphics card can run the two monitore but the trouble arises when I try to drag Plan G across to the smaller, secondary monitor. Currently I don't have MS FSX installed,so without that, but being able to open Plan G on my primary monitor, do I just drag the  icon across? If I try to reduce the Plan G map then it all shrinks to a tiny choice in the top left-hand corner of my primary monitor. And that just isn't draggable.

Strewth!

Plan-G / Plan G on a second monitor
November 25, 2015, 06:20:12 PM
Recently I bought a second, larger monitor. I should like to display the Plan G map on the older, smaller one whilst using MS FSX on the larger. I have it set up in 'Extended' view.

Is this possible, and if so, how do I set about it.

Thank you.

  Merci.

Plan-G / iPad & Plan G
July 19, 2015, 09:40:59 AM
Could a helpful soul confirm for me that it is do-able to  d/load the  wonderful G-Plan onto my iPad 3 and build the data base there for the FSX system I'm running. Also will any FSX plan I'm running on my Desktop be followed on my iPad.
Many thanks.
