Silly me, you're right. I didn't use local IP. It works now! Sorry for the confusion.

I followed the instructions for network connection via Simconnect. Previously I had it set up for P3D and it worked just fine. Recently I switched to MSFS and I tried to do the same for MSFS but every time I press Connect in Plan-G it crashes. I attached the log file.

Is this a common bug? Any other ways to change "Cruising altitude"? Because of this problem Plan-G is unusable for me because all the programs that use flightplans created by Plan-G get wrong cruising altitude.

I have a problem with setting cruising altitude. I press "Altitude" button and set the cruising altitude which is usually different from "suggested altitude". Then I save/export the flight plan. Whenever I load the flight plan the altitude is always changed to "suggested altitude". This wrong altitude is also used by AS2012 and RC4 when I load this flight plan. My question is how do I get my chosen altitude to stick in the flight plan? I use v3. In v2 this always worked.

Plan-G is what I use regularly for my GA flights. I just love it!
But I must admit... I'm still using v2 because v3 has, for me, very unappropriate (by that I mean ugly and unreadable) UI font  - looks like Comic sans.. if it is, check this out please.. http://www.comicsanscriminal.com/ .
