Not sure if this is normal but I have noticed that if I shutdown P3D first and then shutdown PlanGv3 it sends an error message - See attached print screen.
If I shutdown PlanGv3 first while P3D is running there is no problem.

Also attaching a Plan-G_Log as I know you often need that.

Thought I would check this out, my initial finding is that when exporting a plan to GTN it is important to either keep the naming format created by Plan-G or use a format of ICAO-ICAO.gfp (which is what Little NavMap defaults to).

For some strange reason the one (of three) example print screens I attached causes the GTN Catalog to become corrupt and in fact the Import button disappears and/or the catalog appears empty.

Tim, I also noticed you just added 3.2.0.142 so I downloaded and installed for two reasons to see if it corrects this issue I am having with Sim Connect - there was no change I am attaching another log file. The second reason for the download was to check out the beta for the GTN 650/750 - see separate posting regarding my initial findings for the GTN

Thanks Tim - more than likely it's an issue I have caused?!
Here's the log...

I just installed the updated version 3.2.0.137 and I noticed a couple issues that I did not seem to have in the previous version.

1. I can only connect my FSX-SE using the connect option of FSUIPC as the SimConnect (FSX) does not connect to my sim.

2. Once connected the AI aircraft are flashing for what seems like a very long time which I did not notice in the previous version.

Tim - I found the problem. It was the directory for the Scenery.cfg file location.
I went into Little NavMap to find where it automatically added in the scenery loacation and immediately noticed that I had manually put in the wrong location in Plan-G - see attached three print screens - 1. Little NavMap, 2. Plang-G wrong location, 3. Plan-G correct location.

Now what I do not understand is why there are two different locations for the FSX Scenery.cfg file??? Obviously I would not have created a secondary one!!!

But the bottom line is the problem is solved and I am now also getting other airport sceneries that never showed up before.

No Tim, I only have one sim in my system - FSX-SE. I have had this for a number of years and also had Plan-G  for a few years as well.

I have attached the log file file.

Yes I can confirm that the airports do not show up in the find airports list and yes I do have helipads checked.
Also I should let you know that I even uninstalled Plan-G and then reinstalled again as I thought that maybe the file was corrupt but that did not make a difference.

Not sure why this is happening but I added two new addon airports sceneries and both do not get picked up in Plan-G when I do a new Build Navigation Database.
However Little NavMap does pick up these two new sceneries.

I am attaching two print screens for only the one new addon - US Cities X Niagara/Buffalo by Aerosoft.
The other problem addon is also from Aerosoft - Lukla X-Mount Everest. I have not included print screens for this one.

I did not check the time but Plan-G seemed to crash after maybe 15 minutes.
I am attaching a log file as I assume you may want to look at it.

Charts always used to work, however I must admit I have not used that feature for some time.
Today I tried to view my installed PDF charts through the right click while over an airport in Plan-G but they would not open. At first I thought it was Adobe Acrobat Reader because other PDF documents would not launch. So I uninstalled Adobe and reinstalled again. Still would not launch a PDF or even open Acrobat Reader.

Looked at my Task Manager and saw a number of Adobe Acrobat Reader files supposedly running in the background listed in Background Processes. I deleted them, then ran Acrobat Reader it opened OK and I opened PDF documents then closed them. Looked at the Task Manager again, they were not in the Background Processes.

Then I opened Plan-G and tried to view a Chart, it would not open. Neither could I open Acrobat Reader. Looked at Task Manager again and sure enough it shows up in the Background Processes and that seems to lock Acrobat Reader down.

Somehow Plan-G appears to be causing this - can you help me with this please?
