Last week my machine HD died.
Now rebuilding with a new HD.
Downloaded and installed latest P-G 3.1.2, updated X-Plane to 10.41/64bit.
Had problems with the database.
Just found and loaded P-G 3.1.3 beta.
Database update went with no problems, took less than 3 minutes.
Connects via XPUIPC no problems.

Now to reinstall FSX, ugh, not looking forward to that.

After a bit of trial and error, got it working, but I see TWO AI AC following each other(A380?) but visually only one?

Just installed XP10.25 64bit
Installed latest XPUIPC into plugins
Run PG, set location of XP.exe, changed from simconnect to XUIPC. connection is localhost.
But data base updater is grayed out.
XP is on my drive D: and PG is on drive E:, works fine with FSX.

Plan-G / Re: P_G V3 connection
September 13, 2012, 05:50:17 PM
Sorry Tim
Just had a nose around V2 and V3 and noticed that I did not have an FSX.cfg file in V3.
Copied from V2, and guess what.
V3 now works
this file obviously was not installed for some reason.
Still would liketo know where this log file is, just in case.
I will run the database again, but find I have to do it on the flight machine and copy to the networked machine for some reason.

Plan-G / P_G V3 connection
September 11, 2012, 08:40:00 PM
I have and am running P-G V2 with no problems on the flight machine and across the network.
However V3 is a problem.
Dispite the connect button saying connect, I cannot see my AC onscreen, I get a black square box in the top left corner with a upward pointing arrow.
I am using FSUIPC and the connection details is the same as for V2.
The lock/sync/free buttons are greyed out and I have to change from the options menu, there is no telemetry for the panel and radio.
It works fine on the main machine.
I presume I can have both on the same machine with no problems? I am loath to remove V2 as at the moment it is my fallback.
There does not seem to be anything in the manual to cover this.
I am assuming that I am really connecting, or am I. Seeing my own AC is the only indication.
Otherwise I have not had any problems with all previous versions of this great program.

Plan-G / Re: More than one route
June 11, 2011, 05:11:50 PM
Thanks Tim, what I was looking at was doing multiple routes on the one plan. But there can only be one start point, I needed more.
I have input all the WPs and RPs, that will have to be a guide to the flight route wanted.
Only an idea anyway.

Plan-G / More than one route
June 10, 2011, 07:47:35 PM
I am trying to compile more than one route in P-G, ie, start a new start point on the same plan.
Actually trying to transfer all the London heliroutes onto one plan, I could redraw each complete route separate, but I want to get them all on one plan.
Putting all the start points and reporting points in place is not a problem, it is connecting all the dots.
Am I asking too much??

Many thanks for reply, have done the necessary mod to the registery. Now remains to test, but seems to run a bit quicker now. Will need to do a reboot first tho.

Plan-G / Script error
January 30, 2011, 08:03:12 PM
This is weird and annoying.
When I try to move or zoom the map, up comes a script error, more so when trying to set up a flight plan.

Windows Internet Explorer
Stop running this script?
A script on this page is causing IE to run slowly.
If it continues to run, your computor might become unresponsive.

This has been throughout most of Plan-G updates. I now have the latest. Clicking on yes or no closes the box, but it starts popping up sooner and sooner. Closing and restarting Plan-G does not solve it.

Vista 32, Plan-G has admin rights to run across the network. Otherwise no problem when using it as moving map.
And no, I am not using Simconnect.

Plan-G / Re: Cannot connect FS9

Problem solved!!
WideFS V4 is under my new email address
FSUIPC V4 and V3 is under my old email address.
I can only register WideFS in FSX or FSUIPC in FSX
I can only register FSUIPC V3 in FS9
My email address has to be common to all registerations.
Damn!

Nope
FS9 does not like the latest WideFS.
Ah well, back to the drawing board.
