Plan-G / Re: Connected but no yellow aircraft

I have tried numerous times to get the messages you have mentioned but no success. I have made sure that both programs (FS9 and PlanG) have admin rights. I have even tried WindowsXP
compatibility mode for these programs. Each time no connection.

After trying a few connect/disconnect sequences in a row and then looking at the log file I see that there is record of a disconnect but no record of a connection (see below).

I guess somethings are not ment to happen, even though I am very fond of PlanG it seems I have to live without it :(

Thanks for your efforts.

That shows Plan-G is connected to FSUIPC. Is it possible that FSUIPC is not running on FS? (You should see it in the addons menu). This is very common when running WideFS across a network - Plan-G will connect to the local client, but the local client isn't connected to the WideFS server (you should see the word "Connected" in the FSX title bar)

In a network environment you must make sure both PCs are in the same home/work group.

I use my laptop for FS9 and Plan-G, there is no network that I use.

I see the FSUIPC menu when FS9 is running and I am able to connect to IVAO servers through IVAP Program. Please see attached screenshot ofthe FS9.

Still no yellow aircraft  :(

Dear Mr. Arnot,

I want to use PlanG for my VFR flights but I would like your help in resolving a problem.

I have Win10 (Turkish), FS9 and licensed FSUIPC. I start FS first then PlanG. Load my VFR flight plan and then I click connect (after making sure in the options menu the FSUIPC is enabled for connection) . Even though I see the connected icon and the yellow wind icon, I cannot see my yellow aircraft. I have pressed F6 to toggle the icon but no result.

Please see attached picture and lof file for more info.

Thank you for your time and effort.

Regards,

Melih.
