Most likely I am missing something here, but I cannot seem to 100% 'disable' the weather (winds) settings inside Plan-G.
I have set "Disable ALL weather in FSX/P3D" -both themed AND personalised (to 000/00kts); ticked "update local" in PG.....but I still get the yellow arrow in the black box that shows that there is (still) winds aloft...(002 at 020kts)...even when retyped/resaved but it always returns!!
My reason for this is that with some BFSG buddies we are endeavouring to improve our "close formation" flying skills [I use the term loosely!] - simply by practicing extended circuits out of EGGD.
We have recently switched to 'JoinFS' (after previously using FSInn/vPilot) which has by far the best (lowest) 'latency' figures we have ever found (smooth as a proverbial!!), but even when ALL of us are flying the P3D default B58...and using one single 'shared' flight-plan....we seem to be fighting blustery winds, which leads to either drifting apart or (worse!) actually hitting one another (=CTD !!).
We have promised to "get real" and to use the R/W weather ...IN DUE COURSE....but at this early stage those winds are very frustrating!!
Any advice/guidance please?
Thanks
