Plan-G / Re: V4: Plan Elevation has no data
May 24, 2022, 07:08:36 AM
I have downloaded the folder  all10g.zip, have unzipped to  all10g  .  Now inside that folder is another folder "all10". Do I copy that folder as is to my empty DEM folder or do I copy all the individual files separately to the DEM folder. Thank you.

Is there any way to remove for example the column labelled "Alt./ft/FL (MEF)" from the printed plan? Thank you.

Plan-G / Saving the plan as a .pdf
April 12, 2022, 08:40:28 AM
I make up flight plans for a Vatpac group. Currently to provide a .pdf copy for them to look at I have to print the plan and then scan it to a .pdf so I can attach to emails. Is there any way to save it as a .pdf without going thru all these steps? Thank you.

You won't find SIDs or STARs or jetways etc here - this is very much about looking out the window type navigation, and proper flying...  ;)

Just checking as it has been some years since this last post. Is this still the situation in 2022 please? i.e. PlanG is mainly about VFR and does not include Jet airways? Thank you.

Plan-G / How to import Orbx kmz file into PlanG
June 14, 2017, 12:39:06 PM
Have looked at the manual and cannot find how to import Orbx kmz file. Probably there but the older I get, the more blind I become. To be more specific there are a number of unlisted Orbx airfields in Scotland that I wish to see in PlanG. Any assistance will be appreciated. Cheers  Dan

Plan-G / Adding one airfield
May 02, 2017, 06:21:19 AM
I am installing some scenery that just has one airfield not in the PlanG database. Is there a way of adding it to the database without going thru the whole update database process please?
Thank you  Dan

Plan-G / Re: Yellow triangle waypoints keep flickering

No worries Tim, thanks anyway for your kind replies; Definitely nothing to do with PlanG; I can live with it. Probably fix itself one day.
Cheers  Dan

Plan-G / Re: Yellow triangle waypoints keep flickering
August 31, 2014, 10:23:03 AM
Thanks Tim, I have tried Lock, Sync and the other one however is still happening. Only thing I can think of is maybe I have remnants of a previous PlanG install or previous Flightplan install?
I will un-install completely, search for any remnants and then re-install and see if that fixes. Funny, I have not had this happen before and it is more of a niusance than unworkable.
A great program anyway that I will continue to use even if I can't fix this little problem.
Thanks again Dan.

Plan-G / Yellow triangle waypoints keep flickering
August 29, 2014, 04:23:11 AM
As the title says, the yellow waypoint triangles keep flickering (the triangle moves slightly up and down) as do the entries in the View/Plan/waypoint list.
They do not flicker when plan is loaded, only when I connect FSX.
I have re-calculated the flight plan both as .plg and a s.pln and makes no difference, I have also downloaded fresh install of PlanG still no fix.
The flightplan that I have loaded is a very large one "EU_sightseeing"  that I obtained on line with over 11,000km of flying and hundreds of waypoints.
This should not be a problem as I have flown on this plan already for some weeks before the problem became evident.
Any ideas please?
Thankyou  Dan
