I'm running Plan G on my laptop and FSX on my desktop. I am able to connect and build a database successfully, however when I try to connect it will show that connected but immediately crash and close. Any suggestions? I am assuming that my connection settings are correct since I can connect and build a database?

Unbelievable! That was it. I can't believe I did not see that. I am very sorry for my stupidity. Thank you for the help guys.

image added. This is on the laptop that I use with PLAN - G. I can load the flight plan but when connecting, it gives me the time out error.

Hey Tim,

I took a screen shot of the simconnect.xml and the ipconfig screen. Both on the FSX PC.

I got the new IP addresses of the computers. I changed the simconnect.xml to show the new IP address of the FSX PC and changed the locations inside the options of Plan-G and the IP for the FSX PC. I can access the FSX PC because I can load the flight plants but it wont let me connect. Suggestions?

About 30 minutes ago our internet decided to drop (comcast - mistake right there). I had to reset the wireless router and the cable modem. Just got it back about 5 minutes ago and I loaded up Plan G and was able to access access the folder on the FSX pc from my laptop (where plan-g is installed) but when I went to connect, it would not connect. Says it timed out and I needed to check and make sure my settings were correct. So my question is, what happened and how do I fix it? I don't like flying with out Plan-G haha.

Thanks Tim. Would this be possible in a future update? To show the weather on the map? Like a radar weather type of thing?

I  might be over looking this or am dumb when it comes to searching keywords. Can Plan-G display real time weather while tracking flight?

I apologize for the delay in my reply. I am using FSX connecting using SimConnect, not playing any of those, just flying (playing an add-on AirHauler). They are with in the visible range. They will just disappear for a bit then come back up on the screen.

AI traffic that I have flying with in range of me randomly disappear on the map. They'll be in range all times and in some instances flying to the same airport as me and still seem to disappear from view. Is this Plan-G or FSX issue?

Can I create a flight plan from airport #1 to airport #2  and have Plan-G create the route/path automatically with waypoints or what not? Then I can load it into FSX?
