How to transfer the "user waypoints" from ver3 to ver4 .... there must be an easy way, but simply transferring the file doesn't work for me (different file type). Any help appreciated. Cheers.... Tom.

By "get them to work" I meant get them to show ..... I have since delved into the setup more fully, and they now seem to be up and running.  Sorry to have troubled you.

Great programme, have been using it for years .... cheers.

Hi Tim and thankyou for the update - seems to be working well in P3D5 for me, but can't get the "instrument approaches" to work.  Maybe already covered.

Great work, and cheers.

Plan-G / Re: Spot Heights in error
May 18, 2019, 05:30:18 AM
Hi Tim and thanks for responding.
I have not precisely recorded the orders of the inaccuracies, but as you have indicated the data is 1km resolution (of which I was not aware), this would probably account for most of the discrepancies I have witnessed.

One of note yesterday was of Mt Taranaki (Nth Island NZ) where the indicated map trig was of the order of 8200 odd feet, the highest spot height I could get by right clicking was around the 5000 feet mark....... but I guess even this is within the 1km resolution.

So, ..... I will more accurately observe the orders of inaccuracy, but it seems the resolution of the data is the problem. Sorry to have bothered you - I am the wiser for it though.

Cheers ... Tom.

My spot heights on right clicking appear to be hugely in error.
Have I missed something in setting up perhaps ??
Great bit of software Tim, this is my only problem thus far.

Cheers Tom.

Been away for a coupla months - just catching up ....... but :-

Did a general cache / cookie cleanup and defrag before getting back into everything. Now, though, I find I have to login afresh every time I enter,
despite ticking the "forever" box. I must have missed something somewhere.

All the other forums required just the one re login - the problem seems to be only here.

Any thoughts - probably something silly I've neglected to do - I apologise in advance for any perceived stupidity.

Cheers

I have a problem with the patch refusing to run - will have to use the full version.

No big deal - this software is so good I'd crawl a mile over broken glass to get it going!

Cheers and thanks Tim.
