A reboot seems to have fixed it for me - strange, but true. Sorry for unnecessary post.

That's happening for me also.

I could be wrong here but could you not make a 'new' airport in ADEX ?  FSX will then add that to it's own airports, run Plan-G to rebuild the database. Select your new airport from FSX and away you go. You would of course have to do this for all new airports so it could take some time!

Any chance you could add AI boat traffic ? - just for those of us who fly around the coast ;D (btw I like the default font :D)

Thanks for that link, John. I'm happier with V2 as V3 doesn't seem to work very well with me and I had already deleted V2. So thanks. :)

Please bring back the edit button. I like to use the 'direct to' bit then add some waypoints to line things up - in V3 that doesn't seem possible without adding 'user waypoints'. Much quicker and easier in previous versions.

I now have my Plan-G up and running.
What I did:
Deleted (via control panel) the V2.
Deleted all references to V1 including the folder.
Re installed V2 (to a non standard location)
Ran 1st time (built data base etc)
So maybe deleting everything first may help.

Tim, I have similar problem,
Set up completes and I have .net 4 (extended and client) Win 7 64 bit.
This pops up as soon as I try to start Plan-G.
(Old version deleted and fresh install of V2)

For us ES fans, is it possible to add WolfRock to Plan-G please?

BGL's as default ADEX. (it works fine in another folder)
No errors reported.
Reads: Scanning folder XXX (nothing decoded)

User AC appears in the right place as does AI traffic.  It's only the airport 'spot' that doesn't show.

Just tried a few things.
Copied the 2 airport ADEX bgl files to a new folder. According to the log Plan-G did not scan that folder.
My XXX addon folder has several 'building' bgl's (power stations etc.) plus the 2 two airport bgl's. Log file shows these bgl's were scanned but the airport bgl's were not.
Both these airport bgl's are 'non-stock' but adding to scenery\ world\scenery ( or other folders) they are scanned and decoded.

I've added a couple of new airports/landing strips made with ADEX and the .bgl's are in my own scenery folder.
All show up in FSX but not in Plan-G. I copied the bgl's into FSX/scenery/world/scenery and now they show in plan-G. I checked the log file and plan-G did scan that 'addon scenery' file but ignored the entries. All other airports ie:UK2000 stuff that are in their own folders are written so what's happening here?
The problem is sorted but would like to know why this is.

OK that's fixed it, but why did the settings need to be changed?
Previous version I had SimConnect (FSX) pipe, localhost and 4504 and connected OK.

I have the same problem. Can't connect to FSX.

Tried connecting several times as the log shows. All ran OK until connect so log is shortened.

New today to Plan-G (thanks to reading the thread on ES,Tim) so I've not had much time to try it all out yet. Just one thing so far is when using Google Earth, rather than map, terrain etc, user AC and AI do not overlay. Is that how it is or have I missed something in setup? (FSX and SimConnect)
(I have to add this is one of the best FS addons I've installed - just loving it and haven't even got a FP set up yet ;D  )
