Ok, I don't have FSX so will wait for the updated version - thanks Tim.

Problem solved through the disconnection of my network cable, thus forcing Windows 8 back to the C:\ drive - sadly symlinks didn't work!

Now I have the issue with not being able to click any of the tabs, I've read elsewhere that 3.1.1 resolves this?

Hi Tim,
Plan-G is installed locally (on C:\) but the document folder is on a network drive. I've uninstalled Plan-G, set my Document folder to be on C:\ by default then reinstalled, but it seemingly makes no difference, with it defaulting to looking on the network drive.

Is there something in the config or registry I can change to force it to use files on C:\?

Thanks,
Chris

Plan-G / v3.1.0.82 cannot write P3D2 intersections
June 28, 2014, 04:05:38 PM
Hello,
Trying to build the database for P3Dv2, it gets as far as "Writing 102871 intersections" and then stops - any thoughts please?

Log file is attached, it would appear the Plan-G has issues when using files that are on a network drive?

Thanks,
Chris

Trying to install the latest Plan-G build, I get an error saying "Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue. To configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the Control Panel."

It doesn't say what this "product" is, but I'd imagine it to be the SQL tool that Plan-G installs - I have another version that I use with SQLite Expert Professional, which I presume is conflicting.

Any suggestions on how to get around this? Hoping this new build fixes the issue of my aircraft not showing on the map, although AI traffic and windspeed does, so I know FSX is connected via Simconnect!

Plan-G / Homepage Link Error
January 05, 2013, 05:09:55 PM
The link on the homepage directing you where to download Plan-G from is incorrect, it takes you to http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1438.0 which is "offlimits or missing" :)

Linked from http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/ and http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/planG.htm

Also a quick thanks to all involved with Plan-G, a great tool!

HTH!

Chris
