Did you try going to the View tab and clicking on the Plan box? That should bring it up.

Hi Tim,

I went back through the previous posts again and found one I hadn't seen that mentioned .net 4.0 instead of 4.5. I uninstalled 4.5.1 which I had and installed 4.0 and it worked! Sorry I didn't see it before.  ::) :o

Thanks for a great program, by the way!!  ;D

Plan-G / "Plan G stopped working"

Just installed the latest version (3.0.7.71) for the umpteenth time. As usual, whenever I click on the icon and run as administrator, within a second or two I get the "Plan G3 has stopped working" box. Below are the contents of the log file, showing two attempts to start the program:

14:13:11.7

---===+++===---

14:13:11.7 Starting Plan-G, build 3.0.7.71
14:13:11.7 OS is Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1

14:13:12.1 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\PlanG3_FSX.sdf
14:13:12.1 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\PlanG3_FS9.sdf
14:13:12.1 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\PlanG3_XPX.sdf

14:18:29.9

---===+++===---

14:18:29.9 Starting Plan-G, build 3.0.7.71
14:18:29.9 OS is Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1
14:18:30.0 InitDataFolder
14:18:30.0 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\PlanG3_FSX.sdf
14:18:30.0 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\PlanG3_FS9.sdf

14:18:30.0 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\UserWaypoints.sdf
14:18:30.0 Data Source = C:\Users\Russ\Documents\Plan-G Files\Data\MEF.sdf

That's it.

Any help would be appreciated...

(I previously had an earlier version of v3 running on the same computer with no problems. The problem started when I upgraded to 3.0.7.71. I uninstalled the latest version and reinstalled my previous version, but now it behaves in the same manner.)

Thanks,

Russ
