Plan-G / Re: Missing Approaches

Hi Tim

I've still not solved this.

If it helps I've also noticed that, when Plan-G is building the DB it does not seem to finish 'Building Instrument Approaches 1' ... get to about 30% and then skips on to 'Building Instrument Approaches 2'.

Thanks

Plan-G / Re: Missing Approaches

Hi Tim

I've done a couple of uninstall/reinstalls of FSAeroData and Plan-G but no further luck.

Have attached two log files from my lastest attempt:

1. "DB Build on Standard P3d Data.txt": this was the log after building the Plan-G DB from P3Dv4 with no FSAeroData installed ... checked out the approaches in the default GPS in P3D and all seemed fine plus Plan-G seemed to show similar approaches (definitely more than a single GPS approach that I was getting before.

2. "DB Build after FSAeroData Install.txt": log after a new Plan-G install and DB build this time with FSAeroData installed ... back to the previous situation of many airports just showing a single GPS approach in Plan G while many more showing through default GPS in P3D.

Interestingly its not happening for absolutely all airports in Plan-G (almost all though!) ... a few have ILS/RNAV/LOC approaches but there also seems to be a lot of duplication of approaches where airports are showing more than one.

Frustrated and hoping you can advise!

Thanks

Plan-G / Missing Approaches
November 20, 2017, 07:46:13 PM
Hi all

I'm a new user of Plan G with P3Dv4 and having a problem with missing approaches - for example, EGLL should obviously have a whole bunch of them but all I see is a single GPS approach for 9L ... this is similar for a bunch of other airports which I know have various approaches but just show a single GPS approach (and always GPS).

I know that the approach data is properly available in the P3D nav database (as I can see them through the in-sim GPS panel) - I have also used FSAerodata to update the P3D database.

Any ideas gratefully received!

Thanks
