Plan-G / Plan-G error loading database
July 19, 2020, 03:49:34 PM
Need help!

When I go to load the Plan-G database I get this error message.

It seems to be referring to a duplicate PK_ISEC intersections in the FSX database.....

Need help to clear this multipal entry ????

See attached

The .pln plan will not show into the FSX flight plan folder and if I copy it there from the Plan-G folder it still will not load???

I create a plan in Plan-G

I export the plan using the FSW option

It is saved in the Plan-G folder as a .pln file

It does not show up in the FSX flt planner at all.

Even if I copy the .pln plan into the FSX flt planner it still will not load ???

For some reason it does not like the .pln ???   BUT it will LOAD other .pln that are there to choose from.

I have enclosed the actual flt plan this time.

It seems strange that it will load an old .pln plan and not the new one from Plan-g

I have also tried adding the FSX path directly into Plan_G.....

Also I am using  3.2.0.144 and get an error message when I try the update link for build 322167 ???

Maybe I'm missing something ???

By the way it's been a while since I have used Plan-g and I am happy to see that it continues to improve and is supported so well.

Plan-G / Re: Plan G3 has stopped working?????
January 22, 2014, 05:37:25 PM
Tim,
Fellow users,
The problem that I had was due to a corrupt or missing .dll system file, it did not specify which one.
I ran the System File Checker program which came with Win 7 and it repaired/replaced the missing .dll.

Search:  win 7 system file checker

Run the System File Checker tool (SFC.exe) from command prompt.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833

This is a handy built in program which is easy to run from the command prompt.

Tim, you might want to put this in your bag of tricks to fix these types of troubles.

Note:  Works OK with .net 4.5.1

Tim,
The zipped link you sent me has the Installer in it (setup.exe) , not just the files.
Deleted the current version 3 and re-installed as administrator with the link you provided with the installer but that did not help!
I am also running .net 4.5.1 and tried a rebuild to it but it did not fix the problem..
I also could not start the V2 I had been running.
Currently only have the newest Plann G installed.
I understand that a needed .DLL? might be missing.  How can I fix that?
Is there a list of required .dll's that can be used to check against what I have installed???

Plan-G / How to access plan G from FSX
June 15, 2010, 01:32:36 PM
Greetings,
I run FSX (win7x64) in the full screen mode and is there a way to access plan-G (running on the same computer) via a hot key switch or by other means???
I remember the old FS Navigator used to have a nice hot key access available in full screen mode.....
What is your current method for accessing plan_G after it is up and fully running with FSX????
Thx Papa
