Thank you for your reply of Dec.7. I am relatively new to computers (appox.1.5yrs.). Is the cache you mentioned "Base OSM(Open Street Map?) set is a >30GB download" available as a one time download from Open Street Map? if so where is it found? If your referring to caching Google Earth manually do you have any preferences or suggestions as to how to automate that process?

I would love to use Plan-G but cannot justify a $50-$60/month internet bill at home just for that. If the default map data (like Plan-G's other Nav. data) from FSX could be used then the map should be as good as Open Street Map minus the roads - and I could live without them. Is an offline mode possible ? In any case Thank you for this amazing tool !
