Thanks for that explanation. :)

Building the database across a network has always been fraught with problems, and I'm not sure it's a reasonable expectation for users to start messing around with mapped drives and proxy config files. Far simpler (and the recommended procedure) is to install a second copy of Plan-G on the sim PC, build the database there, and copy it across to the client PC.

I fully support this solution, which is the fastest and most effective.
As much with FS2004 everything was simple as much with P3D it is taken headache. ;)

I think OpenStreetMap are experiencing loading issues at the moment with their servers. It's an inherent problem with free services. Some users are finding their access is blocked, while others aren't. It seems to based on IP addresses, so if your internet provider changes your IP from time to time, that could be why you've suddenly hit a block. It'll probably recover over time as their server load settles down, (or if your IP gets reallocated again), meanwhile all I can really suggest is use a different map provider. (Settings->General)
Ok Tim thank u very mutch for explanation ;)

Plan-G / Re: fs9 and windows xp version update..

Thank you very much Tim, fortunately I found the setup version 3.1.2.101. on my archives.
The only problem is the database that remains blocked to the construction of the air routes and I hope to find the solution ...

The new version  is for Win7.

If Tim goes by, I search the last ZIP for XP to reinstall it on a PC with XP networked.
I can not find this zip on the main site, it remains only the version Win7.
I have the main folder of my old XP installation, but I no longer have the setup.exe.
I think it should work but I'm not sure, and it's for a different user than me.
I have the setup of 2.05
Thank you in advance.

Hello!
Flight plan xxx format .plg ok! appears on the map.
The same .pln format is not displayed.
In both cases the panel view plan the flight plan is well displayed.
How to solve this problem ?
thanks

This problem occurs when there is 2  same points in the flight plan table.
But if you say that the .PLN file is identical to .PLG it becomes complicated.
Check carefully if in the .PLN there would not be a "duplicate" that would slip accidentally.

For that panel you need to be connected to FS (as the tooltip explains).

Hello,
The weather is also displayed when PlanG is not connected to FS.
Just click on the small lightning icon.

Hi Tim,
I don't want to create a post just to ask a quick question.

Is there any hope that this version is developed for WinXP or should we migrate to WIN7 or newer?

I say this because currently my 3PC network works very well under WinXP ;-))

In any case, thank you Tim for everything you do for the simmers community.

So the issue is connection between WideFS client and server, since Plan-G has connected to the client.

Check the WideFS config files and make sure your PCs still have the same IP addresses - usually the connection fails because your DHCP server has assigned different addresses after a reboot. (it's always good practice to reserve fixed addresses for all your FS-related machines)

And I would add that instead of the IP address that can actually change the DHCP whith, it is recommended to add the line in wideclient.ini
[Config]
ServerName = GEGE // The name of my FS computer in the LAN and the name never changes
Port = 8002

As seen here, I deleted the original line
"ServerIPAddr = 192.168.1.X"
