So I've had this problem of plan g crashing when it connects to fs over a network.  I searched for solutions and was surprised that it isn't really as wide spread as I thought, but there are a few post about this and no resolution. 

I  systematically went through all the options, enabling, disabling, ect.   then I found 1 thing that allowed plan g to get connected and stay connected, so if any of you are having issues with fsuipc and network, this is what worked for me.

Wait until everything has loaded weather, ai traffic ect then launch plan g,  select MAP instead of default TERRAIN ...then connect.  Bingo  after all that I can then switch to what ever image I want and it works great.

I'm curious if this works for anyone else..
