Plan-G / SkyVector Charts in PG3?
September 08, 2012, 10:25:59 PM
SkyVector.com now has charts for the entire World.
They seem to use an OpenStreetMap interface.
Is there any way to incorporate these charts into PG3?
SkyVector seems to be in the same scale as OpenStreetMaps.
I know that SkyVector is a flight planning site, but it just is not as handy to use as Plan-G, least in my mind.

Charts would be the perfect solution for PG3 for flight planning/moving map, IMHO.

(Sorry if the manual describes a way to do this, Tim, and also my apologies if this has been discussed before
I just had the thought, and won't have the time to tinker around for a couple weeks.)

Thanks!

Plan-G / Will Plan-G Accept 'localhost' URL's?

Is there anyway for Plan-G to access a user created .KMZ file on their local disk?
I tried creating a localhost URL, but it was not accepted.  :P
