QuoteFrom the Data ribbon you can export the FSX ASBs and import them to the X-Plane database. :)

Thanks Tim.

Cockpit Chatter / Air space boundaries & X-Plane

Hi Tim, can you help please?

When PG builds the database from FSX it collects information on Air space Boundaries which I can then display by ticking the box ICAO airspace. (FSX display data button highlighted)
Now, after I build the data base for XP and tick the box for ICAO airspace no ASB's are displayed.  :-\ (X-Plane display data button highlighted),
Also note I can run XP with FSX data showing but some airports are not available for XP from FSX data. (old information)

My question is....... Can I somehow display these ASB's when I display X-Plane data? Cos at the moment they are not there.  :(

Regards Michael.

Thanks Tim for your reply. My suggestion did not make any difference. I will stay with the latest version and swop data sets for the sim I am using.

Tim, following my problems with ASB's I would like to run 2 PLanG's. One for FSX and one for XP11. My reasons are FSX is old boundary info whereas XP is right up to date with NATS. I am aware I can change the data on the tab to whatever sim I am using, but I see there is some mixing with the ASB's of the two sims.

So is it possible to have 2 versions of PlanG on the same drive?

Thanks Tim. I thought that might be the case. I have been successful with the UK ASB from FSX but cannot see how to transfer the ASB,s for Europe from FSX.

Plan-G / XP11 & airspace bounderies
March 30, 2018, 09:52:01 AM
When using FSX data I am able to see all ASB's for the world. When using XP11 data I can only see UK ASB's.
Strangely, if I display FSX data when flying XP11 the ASB,s are showing, but not if using XP data.?

Anyone else with XP11 having the same problem?

Latest version installed and running brilliant.  :)

Love the new Topo. Just what I needed to stop crashing into the tall rough things called mountains.  ::)

Many many thanks Tim.

Plan-G / Link to IVAO network

Hi Tim's Team, I often fly using Vatsim but on occasions I use IVAO. Is there anyway that PG3 could connect to the IVAO network please?

QuoteCan you confirm for me that the tool-tips which stay on the screen are the YELLOW ones (from mousing over the triangular way-point markers) and not the graduated white/grey ones.

Sorry to take so long to update your question. Have attached a couple of SS's.

It is the yellow tool-tips that are the culprits when hovering the mouse pointer over the triangular markers.  By hovering on any other way-point or airport it is not occurring.

QuoteCould it be that you have your Plan-G window over the top of the FS one?

No I don't overlay it Tim,  I use it on a second monitor and it is only when you right click on the airport NDB or VOR to get info that the label sticks to the screen. It doesn't make any difference if you move the map they stay in the same position. I will ask if any one else on CIX if they have the same problem. Get back to you.

Plan-G / Sticking labels
September 18, 2013, 06:47:11 PM
Hi Team, thought I would update with the latest version 3.0.6.67, sorry, but an old problem seems to have returned. It is when are connected to FS and you move the cursor over any waypoint that is in a flight plan, the labels stay on the screen. When you hover over any that are not in the plan it does not happen. The previous version was fine which you had fixed from the version before that. I am connecting via simconnect but I do have FSUIPC.
Have attached a screenshot.

Well done Tim and thank you.

Further to my prob with labels staying on screen after hovering mouse over waypoints/airfields.
1) Only happens when connected to FSX
2) Only happens to labels that are included in flight plan.

Hope this helps.

Michael.

edit: Since posting I have installed latest version 3.04.49 and it appears to have cured the above problem. I'll continue to monitor and advise.
