Plan-G / Re: FSX won't load Exported Flightplans

Hello

First of all I'd like to thanks you for sharing this beautiful software! I love it!

First of all I created all the Reporting points of Airports in Switzerland (for example LSZH -> Route E, W and S with the single points given on the routes).

So I made 2 fp's, one a short hop and the other a roundrtrip. I export them but FSX doesn't load them... I just select the Flightplan to load and nothing happens...
I also rechecked, the fp's starts and ends at an airport.

Can you help me to found out why FSX doesn't load them? The fp's are in attachement

Thanks in advance

Think your problem is that you have to select .pln format when you export a plan for FSX. FSX does not read the default Plan-G format of .plg

There's a dropdown to select the type of file when you save/export

Cheers Anton

OK thanks Tim, I didn't realise that there are not many FAQs to read. The MS fix worked.

Plan-G / Scripts not running after upgrade
January 19, 2012, 04:05:43 AM
Hi, I have just upgraded from 0.9.1.b423 to 2.0.5 build ? and constantly receive "script not running" msg. I run win 7 32 on a HP 17" DV7 NB Duo core 4GB RAM, 512Mb graphics.

With ver 0.9.1 I was not having any issues. Any ideas please. Cheers Anton....

Thanks for the response Tim.  Think it was a memory (RAM) issue.  After rebooting I had no problem, well a few CTD's when I try to connect, but this I found was an issue as to when I connect.  It seams that establishing a flight and sitting with the plane ready to go is the best connecting point.

Very happy as a user, cheers Anton....

Well Done Tim.  I have been using FSWidget's G-Map for a while now, but Plan-G is better hands down.  I started by making a new plan which circumnavigates Tasmania in FTX AUBlue.  It was very easy, intuitive and quick.

I have yet to connect and test in Flight Sim.

I have run into one issue.  Namely that when I tried to load another plan the screen does not change from the existing plan.  I noticed that the new plan is listed in the recent plans in the top LH drop down.  But when I click on the new plan nothing happens.  I then tried clincking new plan and the existing plan closed but again if I tried clicking on a plan in the recent plan drop down, it does not load.  Any glues here.

Thanks again for a great Ap, I hope you will be able to go commercial with it, if thats what you wish. It deserves it.

cheers Anton....
