Hi Tim,

Done both. I am set as admin.

Still do not have anything "pinnable"

However it is no longer giving the error on zoom.

Hi Tim,

Ahh it's not! Any ideas how I get around that? I'm new to windows 7. I changed the security for FS and installed G-Plan into that.

I installed to

C:\flightsimX   not progfiles etc as I heard about the security issues there. Presume I now have an issue whereby the registry is locked.

Rebuilt the database Tim,

No errors on the bgl's that I could see. I had a debug count of 3.

Which look like these.

19:07:56 Error while unregistering file association: Access to the registry key 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.pln\OpenWithProgIds' is denied.
19:07:56 Error in RegisterFileAssociations: Access to the registry key 'HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Plan-G' is denied.
19:07:56 Error initialising Jump List: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I am running windows 7

By the way.

an ldb extension is a lock database extension commonly used to stop 2 database files (of the same name) being opened and editable at the same time, if the database closes without error the ldb should automatiucally be removed from your system, unfortunately I spend have my waking life at work dealing with the nuances and ramifications of these not deleting properly as 1 of our CAD systems have an access database form table and if your pc crashes, sneezes or otherwise operates in accordance with the program it can cause a problem, in the end I ended up putting a script into the program to delete any remaining ldb files before startup but allowing it to create during normal operation..

Hi,

Sorry it is the script error that stops the overlay showing, reloaded and all was there as long as I do not touch the scroll wheel all is fine. Soon as you scroll then the script error shows and it needs a restart.

Hi,

Superb program.

Just an update to the above I get the same error.

Looking in the log as you suggest it happens only it would seem when using the scroll wheel on the mouse to zoom. If I click the + or - it works just fine. I am looking around the Thirsk area (Yorkshire Gliding Club to be exact).

1 thing I do not seem to be able to get any overlays to show, nothing showing airports, VOR's etc. I have d/l the tiles as stated (b10g.gz    c10g.gz      f10g.gz  &  g10g.gz   )

21:28:44 Database load complete.
21:28:48  DEBUG: count=3
21:29:08  DEBUG: count=2
21:30:06  DEBUG: mousemove error = [object Error]

Hope this helps and you can point in the right direction for the overlays.

Regards
