Plan-G / Unable to connect plan G to fsx
January 11, 2013, 08:44:56 AM
Hello Tim

After my computer contracted a very nasty virus, I have had to wipe my hard drive clean. The virus has been eliminated, and I am making good progress re installing all the material to run F/S once more.

Everything is going fine, but for PLAN G. Having installed plan G with no problem and run the data base problem free, I find when trying to connect plan G to FSX i get the message (unable to connect to FS (is FS running etc) FSX is running of course.

Here are the settings I am using.

I have dowloaded NET4
I am running plan G and fsx on the same computer.
My F/S connection is default   ie    simconnect, network mode IPV4, fsx computer , local host

I am running windows 7

As I said everything else I have re installed has not been a problem, the settings above worked ok before my catastrophe,

I have an old computer with vista and plan G works ok on the above settings.

I hope you can help me.

Mel Kirk.

Plan-G / Plan-G 0.9 will not connect to fsx
January 16, 2010, 11:30:20 AM
Having installed version 0.9 of G plan it will not connect me to flight simulator FSX. When I try to connect after a delay I receive a message UNABLE TO CONNECT TO REMOTE F/S (timed out)
CHECK FS IS RUNNING AND YOUR PROTOCOL SETTINGS ARE CORRECT.FS is running and settings are the same as previous version which when re installed works perfectly.Thank you for any help Melvyn Kirk
