I've noticed that when I'm landing, and I get one of the pop-up messages re  distance to go, etc.  I get a large drop in frame rates.  Almost to the point I can't fly the plane.  I'm running an older P4, 3.2 gig machine, but it doesn't happen when I'm at higher altitudes.

Any thoughts?

Without my FSNav, I seriously considered doing very little flying in FSX.  Plan-G has changed my mind.  Thanks very much for a great job.
