Do you mean saving the Plan so that you can use it in the Fight Plan Box of SquawkBox?

If so, then once you've created your Plan select the "Copy Route" icon on the Home Tab. This can then be pasted directly into SquawkBox.

Plan-G / Re: Airport Charts on Laptop

Thanks for that. The Easy Scroller works well, just as you described.

Unfortunately it's another application to have to run, on top of Plan-G, WideClient, Sqwawkbox, VatSpy and Teamspeak. It would have been nice to be able to use Plan-G without "external assistance".

That aside, I have to second everyone else in praising Plan-G 2. The new features, Airport Charts included, have been well worth the wait.

Plan-G / Airport Charts on Laptop

Is there anyway to manipulate Airport Charts without using the mouse?

I use Plan-G on a Laptop with a touch-pad and I can't see anything in the manual.

Thanks Tim.

I had tried to be clever by selecting a specific area of of the map, rather than a whole Tile, to reduce the size of the subsequent file. I had followed the link from the Manual.

However, there doesn't seem to be an option to download the area I want in an extension free format. I have downloaded the complete Tile, as per instructions, and this works just fine.

Has anyone else been able to do what I've tried?

Tim I have a similar problem.

I've downloaded and unzipped a selected area to the DEM folder.

You said in one thread that there should be a single file with no extension. However I have ended up with three files with bin, fmt and hdr extensions. I also have no option for a plan view; the appropriate box is still greyed out.

Am I missing something?
