Plan-G / Re: No Overlays...
April 21, 2015, 09:39:33 PM
Hi.

The problem persist at any level of zoom. Only VOR, NDB's, ILS, and airports are shown. Nothing about ICAO airspaces and RDP areas.
Evidently, "Show Overlays" is on.

Here is a shot:

The OVERRIDE  AIRSPACES function wasn't activated. I did it before take the shot making tests

And here is a new log, after moving around the map several times with differents zoomings.

Plan-G / No Overlays...
April 18, 2015, 09:22:32 PM
Hi all.

An Va partner (he doesnt' speak english) doesn't have ICAO Airspaces and RDP areas drawed in his PlanG. I've seen his configuration and it seems to be ok.
Instead, airports, VOR's, NDB's appear into the map. The SO is Windows 7 Professional 64 with the last Framework updates.

Here is the log: any ideas?

Partially solved to me:

Well. If when I save the file I add *.plg at the end of the title, everything is ok.

It's all that I've found until now.

It's strange that the software has been working perfectly during weeks and, suddenly, this began to happen, without important changes at the SO.

Bye.

In addition to the previous post, I have observed that the file is created, but without extension.
If I rename the file adding: .plg, it doesn't works, too.

However, if I save a non-edited flightplan, only with departure and destination airfields, the save function work.

Best regards.

It's strange.  ::)

The software was working perfectly until yesterday, and then, this problem began to happen to me too.

I would send you the log with the test file you posted above but I'm using the WinXP release.
I think I cannot use the same file...

Bye all.

Thx all for your great support.

Same to me.

If I use the old database the map is showed absolutely clean.

And if I try to build a new database, the process crashes when it's indexing airways, as I showed here: http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2852.0

Thx all!

No idea about which could be the issue? The database builds correctly in 3.0.7.

Thx in advance.

Hi.

Thx for your answer.

Here it is the log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ey7fn7he7r4la72/Plan-G_Log.zip

I'll try to install 3.1.1 at the same folder than 3.0.7... althoug I think the database file is located at My Documents folder... and it should be shared.

Regards.

Plan-G / Database Build - SOLVED
July 14, 2014, 10:38:25 PM
Hi all.

First of all, I would like to thank Tim the effort. Thank you so much for build a paralell release for winXP users. I know the amount of work developing for two platforms.

2nd:

The WinXP 3.1.1 version installs perfectly, but I have a problem building the database. It always freezes when it's indexing the airways.

I've installed again 3.0.7 in another HD and the building process works perfectly.

Is there anyway to copy the database file from 3.0.7 to 3.1.1 until the problem will be fixed?

Thanks in advance.

Plan-G / NET FrameWork 4.5.1 & WinXP
March 01, 2014, 01:15:21 AM
Hi all.

I'm a WinXP user with Fs9 installed into my PC. When I tryed to install the new Plang update (3.1) I read that network 4.5.1 was required for the new PlanG but, this version is not compatible with XP SO.

Is there a way to can install the new version for XP users?

Best regards.
