Hi Tim

SUCCESS!

Right what i did was.......

I have had FSX tracker running before on a network pc so i thought if i can get that up and runnng then plan g is bound to work. So I got that working and i thought well there is no obvious network issue.

When i went to check the simconnect file in FSX the simconnect config tool i have for goolge earth tracker must of created one. now in their the ip is down as 0.0.0.0 and the port is 9017

so i just changed the port in plan g to 9017 and it worked straight off.

I dont now if this is meant to have worked especially having poured my self through thre manual but i can say is at the moment it is and i is enjoying your fantastic program!

Excellent. Sounds like maybe 4506 was being blocked (or used possibly) by something. I'll add 'try a largely different port no' to the troubleshooting list.  :)
