KML Files

I have made a KML file of all the Glider fields in the UK so they are easily identified.

When I import the KML file the zoom level zoom right out to the extents of the KML objects I think.

Is there any way of importing the KML file and keeping the zoom fixed to whatever zoom level you are currently in or perhaps an enhancement for a future version?
