FSX Simplifies my flight plan

I created a simple flight plan from Campbell River to Powel River with two intermediate waypoints of Mt Washington and Commox airport, saved as FSX plan.    There it was as expectend in FSX, great.    I loaded it in the FSX flight planner and pressed "find route" and it shows a straight line from Campbell River to Powel river with no diversions over the waypoints.

I tried it again using the multi waypoint Carlisle to Liverpool example in the instruction manual and was dissapointed to find a straight line from Carlisle to Liverpool in the "find route" map in FSX.

Any ideas why?
How do I get complex flight plans from Plan G to be exactly the same in FSX?

Solved it, I had not filled in the correct path.
Using File-Options-Location I gave it the correct paths and now it is saving my complex flight plans brilliantly.
Sorry to waste everbody's time.
